I have a bag of cranberries on their last leg, a batch of
not-so-great scones, and flour and honey in places flour and honey should never, ever be. I'm currently on a mission to concoct a killer cranberry baked good. If I'm not back in a few days, send help. And wine.
If you have any ideas, send some my way. With wine.
ETA: So I lied, the scones are actually really good. Recipe to come.
I used fresh cranberries for the first time to make a chipotle cranberry relish. SOOOO good. I've made it twice now and am thinking of making it in larger batches to jar. Can't wait to see what you came up with.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what the cranberries go into - I have a bag of them left over from Thanksgiving BOGO sales to and I really need to use them! I love the scone idea...please do share!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to use fresh cranberries in anything. I am looking forward to your scone recipe! That may have to be my maiden voyage into non-dried cranberry baked goods!
ReplyDeleteNever actually had cranberries.....all my family buys is that funky looking canned jellied sauce stuff!
ReplyDeleteMan can't wait for you to actually post this recipe and stop leaving us all hanging.
