Beach Bum

Last night I made delicious banana soft serve:

Made with 1/2 tsp vanilla and topped with crushed raw cashews and goji berries. Yum!

Today was a beach day, which I was completely looking forward to because I LOVE the beach. Cocoa Beach is one of my favorites, so it was a good day indeed. I started off with an appropriate breakfast:

My first Florida orange! Absolutely delicious and perfectly juicy. Also, there were hardly any seeds, which was an added bonus.

Enjoyed with apple pomegranate granola topped with almond milk, banana and a cup of chocolate swirl coffee (I did get fresh ground).

There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the weather was gorgeous; I couldn't have asked for a better beach day. At this beautiful beach I had an unpictured lunch of an ab&j (almond buttah and jam), baby carrots, and yet another orange. I also had a self-absorbed moment with the camera:

And got surprisingly more tan than burnt. At least for now. We then headed to Ron Jon's Surf Shop and I treated myself to a really pretty dress, a shell bracelet, and a mug which I'm very excited to use to caffeinate myself. Overall it was a perfect day at the beach.

Dinner was nothing special but good nontheless:

Pan fried garden veggie tempeh, a baked potato topped with nooch, a cucumber and chipotle bbq sauce for dipping. I didn't feel like cooking much after the long day and this hit the spot.

I'm really, really liking Florida so far.
