1) Gourds. Oodles and oodles of them.
Specifically pumpkins...
and whatever this little guy is - I have plans for him, big plans.
2) Feeding goats.
Seriously. I love goats. I wanted to see Men Who Stare at Goats simply because the word "goats" was in the title.
I love cows, sure, but the smell of manure? Not so much. It's a popular smell around here, unfortunately.
You big stinker, you.
3) Foliage. I wish I could accurately portray how beautiful the hills are around these parts. It's simply magical.
I wish #4 would be the pumpkin whoopie pies I was drooling over, but unfortunately those weren't vegan in any capacity. Rest assured, I'm working on that, too.
Everything about autumn just makes me so excited. Pumpkins, apples, pears, fresh cider, farm animals, crisp air, giant piles of leaves, curling up with a blanket and a cup of tea, feeling perfectly comfortable going out in public wearing sweats, staring endlessly at vibrant trees - everything.
Sorry, I have no food to share with you yet. I did just have a face rocking pizza with peppers, mushrooms, olives and Daiya though. That counts, right?
Awesome pictures, Krystina! Search "goats" on youtube sometime. The best ones are the one jumping on the bed and the one running from room to room when it hears its name called.

Love the pictures - and that's a great color on you by the way. And that pizza sounds yum to me!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill! I'll definitely have to check the vids.
ReplyDeleteThanks Heather. I practically live in that jacket these days. The pizza was deeee-vine.
ReplyDeleteOoh, please make vegan pumpkin whoopie pies happen! I have faith in you!
ReplyDeleteIt's in the works, promise!
ReplyDeleteOne thing about where I live in Australia is that we don't really get an autumn. Some trees try reeeaaallly hard to drop their leaves, but... Maybe I should move south :p
ReplyDeleteI've never seen so many different pumpkins before! it looks like great fun :)
This entry makes me happy! I love Autumn, both because everything about it is amazing and because it leads to winter (my favorite season).
ReplyDeleteDespite that I'd totally want to visit Australia. A friend of mine studied abroad in Sydney and loved it.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it made you happy! We definitely differ in opinion when it comes to winter, though. :P
